Connected HHI was proud to provide the WiFi and networking in support of Hospice Care of the Lowcountry’s signature fundraising event – Yacht Hop of Hilton head Island. With Internet connections from Hargray and Verizon, Connected HHI employed equipment from Luxul and Cradlepoint to ensure that all of the Hospice volunteers had reliable connections and fast response times for thousands of transactions processed in a very short period of time.
This high-tech printing and graphics business selected Connected HHI and its ALWAYS-ON Network service to protect against any downtime due to a lost internet connection. Time is money and nowhere is this truer than in the deadline-intensive graphics and printing business. Owner Chuck Lobaugh and his team of professionals rely on their network to collaborate with clients, coordinate with suppliers, and manage the business.
Connected HHI installed the Cradlepoint AER1600 to control the network connections to Time-Warner (Primary) and Verizon (Backup) networks. In addition to providing all of the routing and security capabilities of a standard router, the Cradlepoint AER1600 monitors the Time-Warner internet connection for outages. In the event of an outage, the Curry network is seamlessly switched to Verizon’s data network until the primary network is restored. No need to panic, no fire drills, just business as usual.
“Our business relationships are based on trust and responsiveness. We can’t afford to lose time or miss a deadline due to a lost internet connection. We trust Joe Chappell and Connected HHI to keep our connection to the internet up at all times.” Chuck Lobaugh, Owner

Connected HHI has selected Verizon as the data network provider for our ALWAYS-ON Network service. Verizon is recognized for their network coverage, performance, and reliability. Our customers benefit from having the best network today and will continue to take advantage of improved performance as Verizon rolls out their Advanced LTE service beginning later this year.

OUR VERIZON CONNECTION MEANS THAT YOU ALWAYS HAVE INTERNET
After researching and testing many different solutions for our ALWAYS-ON Network service for business, we selected Cradlepoint, The Cradlepoint product line allows Connected HHI to offer the right solution for every size business. We installed Cradlepoint cellular data modems and failover routers in a number of our customer sites after six weeks of hands-on testing in our lab. The Cradlepoint modems and routers provide a second internet connection that is automatically activated when the primary internet connection goes down. All of the business systems continue to run without missing a beat- no fire drills, no lost orders, no downtime!
And Connected HHI uses the Cradlepoint Cloud Manager to monitor, update, and manage the Cradlepoint equipment from our offices.
As an authorized Cradlepoint partner, Connected HHI has access to product, training, and technical support resources that ensure that we can offer the best service for our customers. We have Cradlepoint equipment installed in our lab and available for demonstration.

Hurricane Matthew Visit
My wife and I were in Napa when we heard that Matthew was forming and was a potential threat to Hilton Head Island. Thanks to wonderful friends, our pool and patio furniture was safely stowed before evacuation was ordered. I started closely monitoring WTOC and Weather Channel updates as well as keeping a watch on our house. We were able to see live video from inside and outside of our house as well as confirm that the AC was working properly. We lost access to the systems at approximately 4:30am on Saturday and regained access less than 12 hours later. (Thank you Palmetto Electric and Time-Warner!)
